A long time ago you ruined my world...it was a nice dependable, ethical principled world....that is why I feel I have the right to tell you what I think....I'm not interested in your nicey nice coverup..I'm interested in getting my world back....
In looking at the world evils of today one realizes that they are...as always....caused by a dissipation of meaningful factors within society. As those who struggle to maintain the beauty and dignity of the social quarters through real art, meaningful entertainment and intellectual awareness of the social problems that are being hidden by the attempts at disintegration....those working for integrity watch hoping there will be enough left to pull through towards a surviving society of the future. Some of the helps are where you would not expect to find them and that is what I will talk about today.
We have grown into a spineless society of nicey nicey falsies...not that violence or overt anger will solve a lot perhaps nothing... however neither will unecessary and/or false nicey niceys. It actually will melt your spine if you choose to live in it and todays social scene is that if you are not drooling over the group you've been included in momentarily you are excluded and said to be a wretch in so many terms that are allowed the nice false niceys.
It truly is nice to be nice...I see nothing wrong with sincere nice but if a situation is gross and you are expected to be nice and today there is a lot of that then obviously someone is benefiting wrongly and people should be able to say something or leave to protect themselves but the problems are insidious and in that lie many answers.
Insidious creeps slowly smothering along the way. (If you recognize yourself amongst this make sure you let everyone know.)
Recognizing your advantages helps.
Anyway my subject amongst this larger variety is gossip columnists.
It seems to me that we don't have any gossip columnists anymore. We haven't stopped awareness completely, we may have switched it to other channels, but actually I can't say there are any greats that I know of in the business anywhere right now and haven't been.
There are a lot of people who know how to get attention, mostly the wrong way, and some good actors/actresses and a bunch of liars called mouth-off promoters pretending with words that people aren't what they are. Some people look like they are trying to help awareness but they are mixing it with bad action comparative to cooking with alcohol. There don't seem to be a lot of public examples with good taste or people straining for intellect.
Intellect seems to be a discussion of foreign politics which ends up being a useless opinionated reverence.
Take heart, it's only because things are in such a mess. When they are solved then things will make sense.
How do the inexperienced verify their correct choices. We are a mass society....hast thou forgot?........somehow........
Hollywood is filled with look-alike samies, productions capering with name-dropper words like 'caviar' and 'champagne'. Ever smelled caviar? it smells like you should have let it grow into adult fish. Champagne will fry your liver and then if you're callous and greedy after expending yourself out of personal choice like that, you may also be further irresponsible and hope for someone else's furthering even more your shallow worthless existence.
How do you stop this?
Demand better people. Better directors, better producers, better actor fill-ins, better hardware that pulls the lines around...all this can be filled by ethical people.
Have you ever visited several different shows in progress? A decent family would be appalled at the human gear that decks them out.
Well it's obviously apparent if you investigate and research some of the offerings on regular tv today. They are perverse, foul and aiming to rationalize their presence in reality amongst the public who should actually be chalking them up to history if they want to keep a decent society.
The gossip columnist as a polished professional, we've had a couple, if truthful, will keep the general public informed about the very moneyed influential prostheses called entertainers that the young are surfacely influenced by.
These very affluent people push their monies in certain ways to keep those young influenced the way they want.
Many shallow young people participating never grow up from it and are influenced permanently by it, look at this shameful Elvis Presley farce even after the disgraceful drugs overuse. Some people have no self-respect...it makes things difficult for everyone else. Never mind you can go to his shrine and let him sneer at you...that is why he got it, isn't it?
Maybe you can go home and sneer that will make a better society. Learn from his example. Build a world.
I also think there should be, maybe there is, a site you can go to for free where parents and young people can check out what a performing artist or group promotes through their being and the state of that performance. Not their talent or organizational skills they may be honing and learning thru actual performance ...but whether their performance promotes violence...whether their motif is bloody or clean. ...things like that. A lot of people don't want to provoke mental instability by going to see a wrong group or fostering their wallet.
Many groups are supported for awhile because people go to see what they are or what they are doing but after awhile find they weren't worth seeing at all in fact if the performance were described generally it might cut down on wasted time and effort for both the group and the audience both who think they are being provided for by intelligent effort until they get there.
A list of seemly concert behavior posted at this site would be nice for the young to be able to refer to under pressure of the junk that proceeds because nobody is preventing it.
No drugs, no cigs, no booze, no heckling, no violence, and no kissing, hugging or touching...save it for your own time.
Entertainment is entertainment, provocation and instigation, rousing of wrong feelings is a deliberation....a deliberate, deliberated affront to human systems who react with violence until they have subsided.
Entertainment is to soothe, relax and entertain not stimulate and provoke.
Also media that makes you aware is media that makes you aware.
Media entertains also with drama but it lays within intelligent limits.
Plays or movies that expose situations generally perhaps even in an individually applied and contrived story are necessary to a safe society, Once you know what they are you see, you can begin to fix it to keep your basic society safe.
Maybe you can make society safe again.
